Agave is suitable for Kuwait’s hot climate. It tolerates intense heat, strong sunlight, and drought, requiring very little water once established. Agave is an excellent choice for outdoor landscaping, and pot planting.
Agave is a low maintenance succulent that is best grown outdoors but smaller varieties can also be grown indoors if they receive bright sunlight and are planted in well draining soil. Agave can be grown in pots, which is a common choice for patios, balconies, and indoor spaces. Larger types are better suited for open landscapes.
The size of an agave plant depends on the variety. Small agaves may grow about 30–60 cm wide, while large species can reach 2–3 meters in width and height. When mature, some agaves produce very tall flower stalks before the plant completes its life cycle. Agaves usually live between 10-30 years.
